As a Charter Chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF), VI Coaches is a volunteer run, non-profit society dedicated to the learning and growth of its members and invites member participation in all activities of the organization.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to contribute to the Chapter and support the advancement of our profession, as well as to advance your skills and knowledge, while deepening your relationships and networks.
Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities:
Board of Directors:
If you are interested in building community, supporting growth of the coaching profession and sharing some laughs then joining the board of directors might be a perfect fit!
VI Coaches holds its Annual General Meeting in December or January of each year at which time new board members who have been nominated are elected to the Board. There are occasions when the Board of Directors needs to fill a vacant board portfolio part way through the year, so members are encouraged to make their interest known throughout the year. VI Coaches members who are interested in volunteering on the Board of Directors can contact the Nominations Committee or the Past President of the Board for more information.

Special Volunteer Opportunity:
We are looking to create an Ignite initiative for our chapter. This initiative harnesses the collective power of ICF Chapters to accelerate the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goal of Education. We are looking for committee members to help develop and run a pro bono portfolio for our chapter. This portfolio will allow us to impact our communities, our youth and demonstrate the impact of coaching.
The Chapter is also seeking support in two other areas:
- Someone to support the Chapter’s sponsorship efforts, helping to bring in outside resources for our members that will also generate revenue for the chapter.
- Someone who would support credentialing so that we can better support our membership to advance in the different levels of their coaching: ACC, PCC & MCC.
