PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: CONNECTING FOR BALANCE AND SUPPORT

A lot has changed in our world since our last newsletter. We are facing many firsts both in our personal lives and in our businesses. It’s becoming clear that the way through this is by cultivating empathy and compassion for ourselves and for others.

Staying balanced so we can stay connected with our clients

As coaches we connect every day to help our clients stay grounded and navigate the world they live in. To be a support through this change we need to also ensure that we stay balanced and are filling up our bucket – taking time to breathe, moving our bodies, mindfully eating and connecting with people to fill us up.

Staying connected with your community for support and inspiration

As a community we are here to support you. If you need to connect for inspiration or support please reach out to us. At this time we are isolated, but alone and lonely are not the same thing. Staying connected is the answer and our community is here to support each other. Visit our Events Calendar for upcoming opportunities to connect.

Sharing your ideas and expertise

For the foreseeable future our connecting will be online and we would love to hear your ideas for making that meaningful. Please also reach out if you have mastery in an area that you would like to share. Some examples might be a virtual book club to inspire learning or a virtual masters café that would help our new coaches spark ideas on how they can support the world. Please contact Directors of Events, Olga and Alison, for thoughts and interest.

“In order for connection to happen, we have to allow ourselves to be seen, really seen.” Brené Brown
