“Why hire an ICF Credential-holder?”
Welcome to our directory of member coaches of the Vancouver Island Chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF). As ICF members, we are governed by Codes of Ethics which establishes the professional code of conduct that you can expect as a client. ICF Member coaches are enrolled in or have at least 60 hours of coach specific training. “Credentialed” coaches (ACC, PCC, MCC) have additional training and experience that allow them to qualify for these designations.

Erin Acton ECPC
Speaker, Certified Life and Business Coach Erin Acton CoachingBiography
Are you tired of feeling like you’re caught on a hamster wheel?
You run and run but it only makes the wheel spin faster. You have a career that leaves you no time for friends and very little time for your family. You’re disappointed in yourself because when you’re with your family, you’re on edge and you snap at them. Sometimes, you’ll look up and realize that you just had a conversation with someone but you have no idea what they said and worse, no idea what you said. Some days, it’s like a zombie has taken over your body. Your confidence has tanked. You have no energy. You know you can’t keep doing this but you don’t know where to start.
I can help. Visit http://www.erinacton.com/strategy to schedule a strategy session.
Kathleen Asher PCC, CEC
Executive/Leadership Coach Lumina Spark PractitionerSymmetry CoachingBiography
Welcome to Symmetry Coaching
Prior to launching my coaching practice, I had a rewarding career with the BC Public Service. My career focused on leading large-scale transformational change, including business transformation and information technology – with a strong passion for the ‘people’ side of things.
As an experienced leader and coach, I’m steeped in organizational change management, communications, and issues management. I work with people to build relationships, create a vision and goals with them so they can unleash their creativity to solve problems with outstanding results.
Others see me as a respected and inspiring strategic thinker, a strong communicator who consistently brings passion, integrity, and diplomacy to the table and uses both backbone and heart. My core values include authenticity, courage, curiosity, compassion, and connection; anyone who knows me, appreciates my positive approach, sense of humour, empathy and ‘spark’ for life (and some sassiness too)!
Why I became a coach:
It’s ALL about people for me. I love new ideas and possibilities and the opportunity to connect people and ideas, and build relationships – this is both my talent and passion!
I love to work with individuals and teams to discover new possibilities and navigate change. I’ve worked in both project and operational environments, and know how a keen focus on people and leadership achieves results. In the trenches I learned about overcoming obstacles, working with a variety of leadership and team dynamics and the importance of being authentic as a leader and in life. I’ve felt ‘stuck’ and ‘held back’ and experienced first hand what a difference being coached made for me.
I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), and a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) through the Royal Roads University Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching Program.
I am a Lumina Spark Practitioner https://www.luminalearning.com/luminaproducts/spark
