Resilience for Coaches: Building Your Capacity
ICF CCEUs: 3 Core Competencies Credits
Coaches do their best work when they are personally and professionally resourced. Join Beth and Sarah in this experiential half-day session which offers an opportunity to learn and ‘play’ with seven interrelated components of resilience to support building personal resilience at work, capacity to adapt to change and uncertainty, and maintain personal wellbeing.
In this session you will:
- Learn the Sustain 7 Model of Resilience
- Receive a personal measure of your individual resilience on the Sustain 7 Model
- Build capacity to adapt to change and uncertainty
- Build capacity to maintain (physical and emotional) wellbeing
- Develop a specific plan to integrate personal resilience strategies
Attendees will be able to apply a systemized approach, leveraging seven interrelated components, to support their clients in building their own personal resilience capacity.
Things to Note:
- N.B. Registration for this event will close on Tuesday, March 12th to allow sufficient time for all attendees to complete the Sustain 7 personal assessment. The cost of this assessment is included in the session fee.
- Please arrive for coffee & tea before 9:00am as doors for the event will close at 9:00 sharp.
- This workshop offers 3 Core Competencies CCEUs to ICF members.

Beth Page, PhD, PCC, CPHR Author, educator, international speaker and Dream Catcher Consulting founder Beth helps support people and organizations to honour the human dimension of change. Her books include Change Happens, Done Deal: Your Guide to Merger and Acquisition Integration, and a chapter in the best-selling Awakening the Workplace. She also collaborated on a co-authored chapter in Leading with Spirit, Presence and Authenticity published by Jossey-Bass. Beth holds degrees from Pepperdine University, Western Illinois University, Carleton University, and she completed her PhD at the University of Victoria. Sarah Evans is passionate about working with visionary decision-makers and influencers inspired by the transformative potential of coaching. She is an executive leadership & team coach, facilitator, OD consultant, coaching supervisor, and mentor coach dedicated to supporting individuals, teams, and organizations lead and thrive in complexity. Her goal is to maximize human capacity, organizational capabilities, and contributions to societal well-being. Her key working themes are relationships, resilience, results! Sarah is a doctoral candidate in Human and Organizational Systems, where her dissertation is focused on meaning making and leadership resilience during organizational change. She is accredited in the Resilience at Work (R@W) Toolkit to support individuals, teams, and their leaders strengthen capacity for resilience in the workplace. Sarah is a member of the International Coach Federation, where she holds a Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential.
