Date(s) - 18/11/2020
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
In partnership with the Vancouver Island Region of CPHR BC & Yukon, we are pleased to co-host a roundtable. This roundtable will occur 4 times a year. The second one is coming up on November 18, 2020.
About This Event: Implementing a Coach Approach
CCEUs: 1.5 Core Competency
Lynn Wark (ACC) and Mary Crowley (PCC) will share the story of how a municipality worked together with Mary to introduce a coach approach to the core supervisory team in the Recreation and Culture Department at the City of Campbell River. Major points of discussion include how we got to the point of knowing that adopting a coach approach was needed, how we did it, what was the impact of up-skilling the supervisors so that they could employ a coach approach, and how did it contribute positively to the overall workplace culture.
Come learn with us in this interactive session – taking knowledge into practice.
Bring your curiosity and enthusiasm to learn and practice effective ways to help those who need our coaching even more during these stressful times.
