The ICF establishes the Code of Ethics and Professional Code of Conduct that govern and inform the practice and profession of coaching as well as the Core Competencies that define the required skill set of a professional coach and establish the foundation for the professional credentialing examination and accreditation for coach training programs. These Codes and regulations provide the standard for consumer expectations for the appropriate level and type of service that they will receive when hiring a coach.
With more than 18,000 professional personal and business coaches representing more than 100 countries, the ICF is the voice of the global coaching profession.
