“Why hire an ICF Credential-holder?”
Welcome to our directory of member coaches of the Vancouver Island Chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF). As ICF members, we are governed by Codes of Ethics which establishes the professional code of conduct that you can expect as a client. ICF Member coaches are enrolled in or have at least 60 hours of coach specific training. “Credentialed” coaches (ACC, PCC, MCC) have additional training and experience that allow them to qualify for these designations.

“Lily’s coaching has had a significant impact on my leadership capacity and on my life. She is warm but firm and is very quick to grasp the essence of leadership issues.” D – Edmonton
“…she listened deeply and demonstrated responsiveness by in the moment, reflecting back for me, what I was saying. She was non-judgmental, even when I was being judgmental to myself… Lily’s coaching helped me get really clear on next steps forward and also steps to address aspects that are holding me back from my vision. She helped me assess the impact of my current decisions on future results, including the impact of the whole system in which I live. .. I was able to create experiments to challenge some of my potentially limiting assumptions and to explore alternative ways of looking at things” R- Ireland
“I can testify to Lily’s ability to help people work through issues that are holding them back from reaching their true potential. I have witnessed in a group setting, as well as through face to face coaching, Lily’s ability to help individuals move through their “stuckness” and develop methods and strategies to achieve results in the workplace and in life”. Annette Siewertsen CECCertified Executive Coach SeaStar Coaching
I have believed in coaching from the time I started working with the Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching at Royal Roads University in 2005. Since becoming a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads Univeristy; coaching has become a way of being for me. I have shifted my listening and my way of conversing at home, at work, with friends, in organizations that I am connected to…not a huge shift…however, an impactful shift.
Believing in and being are two different pieces. I learn from each and every coaching conversation that I am engaged in and am finding that everyday conversations are turning into coaching conversations so naturally now. I have had the mindset of a “coach approach” with teams and colleagues throughout my career. I have participated in many leadership programs as I am curious about how people rise to the challenges they face in their lives.
I have been involved with local and global organizations linked to the coaching profession for a number of years and have been intrigued by the different ways of thinking and the common value of helping others. Being part of these organizations has helped me realize that this is something I would like to be part of not only in my career but also in my life. Some of the organizations that I have been involved with are:
Currently on the Steering Committee for the Western Regional Advisory Council for the International Coach Federation (ICF) (3 years)
Currenty a Team Coach for one of the Community Action Project Teams and have been a Mentor with Leadership Victoria (3 years)
Past President, Past Membership Director, current team member of our Coaching in Community initiative with the ICF Vancouver Island Coaches Association (on the Board of Directors for 6 years)
Past Project Manager for the Public Relations team for the HeroWork Rainbow Kitchen Radical Renovation
Past Secretary and Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO) (6 years)
Past Board of Directors for WorkLink (8 years)
Past Mentor with the Rees Society, Mentoring Project at Victoria Cool Aid Society
Past Swimathon Volunteer Coordinator for Victoria Hospice (4 years)
I am an enthusiastic coach who will create a safe, positive environment, ask you thought provoking questions while opening up a whole new world of possibilities together.

I believe women do leadership differently. I believe this matters. I believe women who lead like women will be our change agents, co-creating a more positive world.
I work with women who want to thrive in their leadership – leading from values with heart-centred confidence so they can feel authentic in their voice and engage awesomely creative teams with purpose, grace and dignity.
My greatest desire is a world fundamentally changed by the contributions, the voices and the participation of women who are living and leading by their own rules.
Your true leadership power comes from being authentic and bringing your unique qualities into everything you do. Leading effectively is not about being who you — or others — think a leader should be; it’s about being who you truly are.
My coaching approach is informed by the latest research on what has women truly thrive as leaders and I see my role as helping you recognize what limits you in your leadership so you can develop the skills that will have your unique character and strengths run wild.
